Gujarat is home to an Indian Institute of Management, located in the city of Ahmedabad. The institute has been rated as the best in Asia by Asiaweek. Its graduates work in high positions for Fortune 500 companies and other major companies throughout the world.

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology is the first institute in India to recognise ICT as the emerging technical discipline and impart education in the same.
