The devotee requested the Guru to restore water supply to the thirsty people of the area. It is said the Guru shot an arrow into the ground from which sprang a baoli (a well). Here a fair is organized on every no moon day (Amavas).

Gurudwara Amb Sahib : It is about 10 kms from Chandigarh in Phase 8 Mohali. It is the historical place which has the blessings of The Great Guru Sri Har Rai Sahib Ji. At this gurudwara, there are mango trees, where the mangoes grow in winter. These mangoes are served as parshad during winter to the sangat.

Jama Masjid : It is sector 20 in chandigarh. It is the main gathering place for the Muslims. Thousands of Muslims gather here to offer Friday prayer and special prayer on the occasion of Id besides regular prayer which is performed 5 times a day.
